H&H Metal Source is a family-owned flat rolled steel service center located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Since 1992, we have been supplying and processing steel for manufacturers throughout Michigan.

We are a second-generation, family-owned company focused on serving our customers and supporting Michigan manufacturing. As a smaller, locally owned business, we take pride in being responsive, dependable, and easy to work with. Our customers are not just account numbers. They are companies and people we know and work with every day.

Our History

H&H Metal Source was founded in 1992 in Grand Rapids, Michigan as a flat rolled steel service center focused on coil slitting and steel distribution. The company was built on a simple idea, provide reliable service, quality processing, and dependable delivery to local manufacturers.

In the early years, H&H focused on narrow coil slitting and servicing manufacturers in West Michigan. As our customers grew, H&H grew with them by expanding processing capabilities, adding equipment, increasing inventory, and continuing to invest in the business.

Over the years, the company added cut-to-length processing and cold reduction capabilities to better serve customers who required tighter thickness tolerances, consistent material quality, and processed steel ready for production.

Today, H&H Metal Source remains a family-owned and operated company in Grand Rapids, Michigan. While the company has grown since 1992, our approach has not changed. Take care of our customers, take care of our employees, and be a dependable partner to Michigan manufacturers.
